Wife is getting really excited, she has spoken with the neighbors about us getting chickens and they are all for it and would love to look after them while we are away.# So we are going to go up to the farm to talk through a few questions. How much will a set up cost that will be good for 4-5 POL chooks What is REALLY involved in keeping chickens and what breeds to go for... I would love to get 2 rescue hens a Burford Brown, an Amber Star and a Leg horn. I know that "HC" have rescue, Amber and Leg Horn but I dont know about Burfords. IF anyone has any opinions or can help with the above questions, that would be great. Cheers Mark

I agree with Happy Chicks. Its very nice to see a company not wanting to merely GRAb your money. They actually love what they do and will happily spend time talking to you and answering questions. I never felt under any pressure there at all. I would much rather shop at this kind of place than someon only in it for the money.
They are both lovely people to deal with which is so nice and so rare nowadays. Its a pitty not all places are the same. You look like you have some lovely chickens there. Happy keeping and keep the piccies coming.
