i noticed one of our chickens diddnt seem herself last night, when it had gone dark all the others had gone in the hen house except her in the end i put her there myself, this morning she has just stayed layed in a corner, ive brought her in the house now and she is just laying there with he eyes closed, im really worryed about her and have no idea what to do.

Is her crop squishy if it is it could be sour crop you need to give her live yoghurt and colliod silver spray and empty the crop by swinginging her upside down gently if smelly green fermented bile comes out its sour crop. if her crop is hard even in the morning it could be compacted pour a little olive or caster oil in her mouth and massage crop. their is further advice on hc home page under health hope chook ok soon
