I've had my 4 hens for about 2 months now, they were approx 5 months when we got them. 1 started laying after 2 weeks. I noticed under the wing of 1 was looking a bit matty & smelled. My layer stopped laying & I noticed they had runny noses. I read about red mite(I am new to chicken keeping) & remembered seeing red spots on eggs for last week, After dousing all hens in red mite powder I started getting 1 egg a day again 2 weeks later but no others started laying. The others look bit manky under wings now but don't smell, runny noses have stopped but have noticed 1 coughing in the last week & not happy about breathing with this hen tonight. They are all eating well & otherwise seem happy. I have seen every pooh colour going yellow runny to begin with green & even white runny (normal as well). I have started worming treatment today as read green can mean worms. I am ringing vets tomorrow but if anyone can help am very concerned.
