Hey, We bought 5 Ex Batterys over 1 month ago and they're still not laying. We were told they'd lay about 10 days after we got them. They're all happy and healthy. They've got their feathers back and their combs are now bright red. They have free roam of the whole garden and when we go down they all run after us and like attention from us, so they've obviously settled in. We've checked around the garden to make sure they're not laying somewhere else other than the coop. We even tried to encourage them by putting an egg in with them to show it is okay for them to lay. Basically, we're stuck and don't know why they're not laying. Any ideas?

I have had my ex battery hens for 4 weeks and they have just started laying in the last couple of days..........I was told that they would start at about 3 weeks . I'm sure yours will start soon. Good luck!
