I have had 4 beautiful Blackrock hens for about 2 years. All have been eating, drinking and behaving normally. Yesterday I noticed that there were some lime green loose poo's in the shed and this morning one is dead. It 's comb was a deep puple colour but it was fine last night. They have been wormed recently with Verm-X. The other three girls have also got slight messy bottoms. I'm now worried that they will go the same way. I have completly cleaned out the shed. They roam around an enclosed paddock all day and are shut up together at night. please can anyone suggest what it might be.

Hi, Sorry to hear about you loosing one of your hens.
I would firstly suggest using something like Flubenvet to worm them as Verm X is more of a natural preventative.
I wish you the best of luck.

Thankyou for your advice. I have adding Flubenvet to their feed and all seems fine.
