sudden death

One of my hens suddenly died today with no evidence of illness until today - I suspect it might have laid a soft egg yesterday but apart from that it was only today when she looked lethargic. I did clean the hen house out yesterday but used disinfectant suitable for small pets / birds.
What might be the common reasons for this as don't want to be doing anything wrong ?

Oh no! im sorry to hear about your loss, hope the rest of your chickens are ok, i dont know what it could be as im pretty new to this chicken keeping but id phone my vet to be on the safe side
