Hi. Quick question about double yolkers. Do they indicate any kind of problems or are they just an extra lucky bounty from your ladies? The funny thing is that one of my ladies is a double yolker machine. She has laid one every 3 days for 12 days consistently. And the egg is always absolutely huge! We always know it will be a double yolker. Is there anything to worry about or should I just consider myself lucky that I keep getting outstanding breakfast! Justin

My girls layed double yokers for a bit when they first started laying. Settled down now(12months), consider it a treat, our family fights over them because they still count as one egg in the pan! Must hurt though, my dad has chickens and one threw a tripple yoker! Almost unheard of. Enjoy while they last

Superb! It's got even more ridiculous since the last post! The consistent double yolker appears to be on an 'every other day' routine, and if that wasn't enough, another one of our chickens has laid an egg which is huge in comparison to normal and we are expecting that to be a double yolker! As we don't have kids yet (one on way) and as the wife is avoiding things like eggs, I am in breakfast heaven! Truly truly brilliant breakfast times! hahaha
